Chapter 14 – News

The evening was calm, with the moonlight shining softly on the lake. Mingshui Mansion is situated at the heart of Mingshui Lake, surrounded by verdant grassland.

When the wind blows, there is a gentle rustling sound, causing ripples on the lake.

Ji Mingshu had a nightmare that was very unsettling.

She was caught in the same dream over and over again, unable to shake it off.

Despite being aware that she was in a dream, her eyelids felt heavy and wouldn't budge.

The sky is bright at six in the morning.

Ji Mingshu woke up from her dream at last.

Her silk nightgown was covered in icy sweat, the cloth on her back had turned dark, and there was a faint sheen of sweat on her neck and jaw.

She opened her eyes and stared at the ceiling without any expression. After a brief moment, she extended her fingers and gently placed them on her chest.

Breathe in, breathe out.

Her heart was pounding.

It's still here, luckily it's still here.

After regaining consciousness, Ji Mingshu grabbed a section of the pillow and folded it over to cover her face.

Yesterday evening, she made a mistake by reading a novel that deeply affected her emotionally. While she was asleep, she dreamt of a bizarre scenario where Cen Sen was digging into her heart and kidneys to help his ex-girlfriend.

The nightmare was so dog-blooded.

Wouldn't she die if she got her heart dug out? How is it possible for her to continue living as they take out her kidneys?

And if Cen Sen dares to harvest her organs to cure his ex, she must first unearth his ancestors' burial sites.

Nevertheless, Cen Sen appeared frightening in the dream. He was clad in a white coat and gold-rimmed glasses, embodying a creepy persona.

Ji Mingshu turned towards Cen Sen and instinctively moved out of the way.

Cen Sen appeared to be sleeping peacefully, breathing evenly. Ji Mingshu, unsure of the reason, regained her courage and quietly moved closer.

She reached out with her small hand and delivered a cold slap to Cen Sen.

Pop!

The slap was gentle, but it was just as strong as the one at the birthday celebration last night.

Ji Mingshu intended to retreat after slapping. However, Cen Sen, who had his eyes closed, accurately gripped her wrist bone.

His voice sounded raspy and slightly cold as he asked, "What are you up to?"

"You're awake...? There's something on your face." Ji Mingshu was surprised and confused by the sudden awakening of this dog of a man. Her heart raced with fear, causing her words to falter.

Cen Sen gradually opened his eyes and turned to face her, asking what was wrong.

His gaze was deep.

Ji Mingshu was unable to respond and made a strong effort to break free but was unsuccessful.

She honestly confessed, "I had a dream where you were extracting my kidney, and it kept me up all night. Is it wrong for me to hit you?"

"Really?" Cen Sen's grip relaxed, so Ji Mingshu quickly withdrew her hand and feigned holding her right side, attempting to demonstrate her credibility.

Cen Sen looked at her and said, "That's the abdomen."

Ji Mingshu stopped and switched sides suddenly. However, it soon became apparent that something was amiss.

Isn't it true that people have kidneys on both sides?

How does that relate to choosing a side?

She was feeling puzzled as well.  She reached out in different directions, unsure of the exact location of the kidney.

In the end, she just clasped her chest and expressed in a heartfelt manner, "You're not just digging into my kidneys, but also my heart. Why are you so twisted in my dream?"

Cen Sen taunted her, "Did I also take your bone marrow?"

Ji Mingshu's mind was jolted, prompting her to quickly sit up and reach for her phone.

There was nothing in the cabinet or beneath the pillow. When she looked up, she realized it was located at the head of Cen Sen's bed.

"You're a pervert for looking at my phone without permission. Don't you understand that this is a violation of my privacy?" Ji Mingshu was furious and raised a pillow to hit him.

"You can sue me then," said Cen Sen as he slightly changed his position and gazed at her for a brief moment.

Ji Mingshu's eyes darkened.

If it wasn't for the clear division of property that they agreed before marriage, Ji Mingshu would have been excited to cover Cen sen's head while he was sleeping so she could inherit his inheritance.

After a disagreement in bed in the morning, Ji Mingshu was feeling restless and not inclined to go back to sleep.

She got out of bed, got dressed, and purposely made a commotion to prevent Cen Sen from getting any more rest.

Cen Sen did not have a choice but to get up.

At first, Ji Mingshu was excited about the wave of activities, but her mood changed when she opened WeChat to look for someone to play with and realized she was left on read by Cen Sen, which made her very frustrated.

Reluctantly, she browsed the internet and then sent Cen Sen a screenshot.

When he saw the screenshot, Cen Sen was already seated in the backseat of the car.

The screenshot is a well-known explanation online. The 'duck' is used to substitute with 'ah', indicating a tendency to be coquettish. The feelings conveyed are akin to being coy and endearing, aiming to create a cute and youthful image.

Ji Mingshu: [Mr. Cen, if you have free time, you can browse the internet more. I think Jun Yi will go bankrupt sooner or later if you can't catch up with the current trends.]

Cen Sen flipped through the chat logs and then abruptly shut the phone down.

Because of the sound, both the driver and Zhou Jiaheng instinctively glanced at the rearview mirror. However, they did not inquire further and just took a quick look.

Everyone's inclination to socialize and discover new things has significantly diminished after spending a considerable amount of time under the leadership of a reserved manager like Cen Sen.

Some time back, there was a bodyguard who also served as a driver, who left. The reason was not due to low pay and tough job, but simply because the young man was inexperienced and unable to endure it. He clearly had the ability to talk but could not do it for the entire day.

Not long after, Ji Mingshu also got updates from Cen Sen.

The first two responses are for the screenshot and message that she sent.

Cen Sen: [It turns out that you want to be coquettish and cute. I will pay attention next time and cooperate with you.]

[But you are twenty-five years old. You don't have to give me the impression of being young. I'm not interested in children.]

The third link is the positive update from Junyi Group's official account.

The article highlights the group's impressive successes in the hospitality sector. Towards the conclusion, the writer commended the group's staff and gave a playful gesture of appreciation to the leaders.

For Ji Mingshu, it translates to 'you don't have to worry, your grandson can still enjoy wealth when the time comes'.

After Ji Mingshu replied with a smile, she located Cen Sen's profile picture on WeChat, and proceeded to unfriend and block him.

Ji Mingshu and Cen Sen did not see each other for a whole week after the WeChat incident.

Cen Sen has a bi-weekly schedule for inspecting hotels, traveling both domestically and internationally.

He attends a minimum of three meetings daily to stay on top of the projects he has organized.

Ji Mingshu could not resist Jiang Chun's persuasive arguments and agreed to oversee the her reversal

Actually, Ji Mingshu is not aware of the reasons behind why she ended up taking over the role of the supervisor. However, now that she has taken on the task, she is determined to fulfill her responsibilities diligently and achieve the objective without allowing any hint of naivety to escape scrutiny.

The strict teacher Ji stared at the scale and asked, "Why are you still on 58 kg?"

Jiang Chun appeared innocent as she stated, "I have no idea. I didn't have any milk tea or barbecue."

Before losing her temper, Ji Mingshu paced around the unattractive room and then grabbed three boxes of instant noodles from the corner.

She sarcastically questioned, "Are they giving this away for free?"

Jiang Chun recalled a video she saw online where someone ate instant noodles and their weight did not change. She calmly took the instant noodles from her hand and confidently stepped on the scale again, stating that the weight had not changed and that eating them would not make her gain weight.

Ji Mingshu glanced at the number fifty-eight on the scale and was momentarily stunned.

She found her argument surprisingly convincing for a brief moment. Luckily, Ms. Ji, who was fast on her feet, immediately came up with an idea, "Did you consume instant noodles? Can you simply empty your stomach after eating them and not process them?"

Jiang Chun said that it did not go as expected. Ms. Ji carried on with her lesson, questioning why the person is constantly expressing the desire to lose weight but lacks the determination.

She asks why they don't have the motivation to return to their hometown to sell fish and observe their ex-fiance and rival getting married on social media like Weibo.

"You constantly advised you to lose weight in a healthy manner, didn't you?" Jiang Chun murmured quietly.

Ji Mingshu's look of "Say it again and you won't see tomorrow's sunset" was quickly followed by a change in tune, admitting fault and promising not to eat instant noodles in the future.

Ms. Ji firmly instructed not to be lazy and use the weighing instrument every day.

Lately, she’s been using the machine daily.

Upon hearing those three words, Jiang Chun noticed a slight pain in her thighs and calves.

Ji Mingshu positioned herself by the scale, closely observing the impending result.

She inhaled deeply before berating Jiang Chun again.

This time, Jiang Chun was determined to improve and she also wanted to release her anger.

On that evening, numerous individuals in attendance captured and snapped pictures of Ji Mingshu's slap.

Despite second young master Zhang’s request for everyone to delete the video footage upon his departure, some still leaked it.

Within a span of less than 48 hours, the innocent girl was labeled as a mistress and the incident went viral online.

She is now a minor celebrity with a modest following, and naturally a handful of individuals are talking about her on the internet.

The little white lotus went straight to Yan Yu to vent her grievances. Enraged, Yan Yu immediately went online to declare that he and the little white lotus were in a serious relationship.

She berated the Jiang family and cautioned Jiang Chun to not do anything again.

Jiang Chun was filled with so much anger that she nearly passed out. She was eager to buy a water army to splash dirty water on them and make them face the consequences.

Father Jiang was more understanding.

He graciously revoked the marriage agreement between the two family and prevented Jiang Chun from causing more trouble.

He simply mentioned that there would be numerous chances for Yan Yu to feel remorse in the future.

Jiang Chun lacks patience and does not listen to her father. She is eager for Yan Yu to join the scumbags and die soon. She had no shame as she continuously bothered Ji Mingshu to request her assistance in overseeing her transformation.

She aimed to make a grand exit by humiliating the little green tea in public, then finding someone as respectable as Cen Sen to make Yan Yu regret and apologize to her. Father Jiang fully supported Jiang Chun’s request to find a suitable person who was better than Yan Yu.

Jiang Chun is younger than Ji Mingshu by three months. Her family has been financially stable in recent years, so there is no pressure for her to seek a serious job to help support them.

Father Jiang had one main wish for her, which was to marry a suitable man. Despite her strong feelings for Yan Yu, Father Jiang was not pleased with her choice. He believed that Yan Yu was not trustworthy, but Jiang Chun was determined to continue seeing him. He was worried that Yan Yu would only end up hurting his daughter.

Jiang Chun had a sudden change of heart, which pleased her father. He organized a family gathering resembling a blind date for her the following Friday. Jiang Chun is aware of this and she already had a photo of her blind date. He is good-looking and well-educated.

After undergoing a week of rigorous training, Jiang Chun appeared to be more refined and demure when she stayed still.

While Ji Mingshu was helping her choose an outfit for the dinner, she advised her, "The Tang family members are highly educated. Be mindful of what you say when meeting them. If you're unsure, it's best to stay quiet."

Jiang Chun, the small goose, nodded her head. On Friday, she had put on the dress that was handpicked by Ji Mingshu in order to attract and impress the wealthy young man.

Ji Mingshu went to sleep early on the Friday evening and didn’t have the chance to ask Jiang Chun about her blind date.

The next morning, Gu Kaiyang called her multiple times to borrow a dress.

Gu Kaiyang asked a famous CP to be on the cover of their magazine but the outfit that was intended for the actress didn’t fit and she couldn’t put it on. They are now scrambling to locate an identical dress to finish the photoshoot.

The dress is the latest fall and winter fashion of the year. Ji Mingshu owned one, but didn't really enjoy wearing it. She had put it aside, waiting for it to collect dust after being out of favor. However, upon hearing Gu Kaiyang express interest, she immediately agreed without any hesitation.

Gu Kaiyang planned to have her assistant retrieve the dress from her house. Since she didn't have any other plans, she agreed to send it in person.

While on the journey to drop off clothing for Gu Kaiyang, Ji Mingshu belatedly recalled Jiang Chun's blind date and decided to give her a phone call to inquire about it. Jiang Chun immediately picked up the phone, but she sounded tired and frustrated as she talked to Ji Mingshu.

Ji Mingshu asked, "Did something bad happen?"

"It was not very satisfactory. I am unaware of my mistake. Nevertheless, whenever the man glanced at me, he consistently appeared to be smiling, causing me to feel slightly confused."

Before Jiang Chun got out of bed, she laid there remembering the blind date with Ji Mingshu. She went over the details, even mentioning how many bowls of rice she had for breakfast and what she ate for lunch. Ji Mingshu impatiently interrupted her in order to request that she get to the point. She stopped briefly before transitioning to the topic of the two individuals getting along well.

"He inquired about my preferred type of painter. How could I have a preference when I’m not even interested in painting. I once heard that your husband owns various paintings of the Eight Mountain People, and I mentioned to him that I particularly admired their work. The art produced by the Eight Mountain People is truly unique and I couldn’t help but appreciate it.”

Ji Mingshu paused, thinking if she had misheard it. She wondered if the other person believed whether she spoke little or not. Jiang Chun was confused, wondering if she had said too much. She asked if she said something vague or not.

“What do you think?! Did you think that ‘Eight Mountain People’ are like the ‘seven bamboo groves’ or the ‘eight monsters of Yangzhou’? He is only one person, not eight! I told you to stay quiet if you were unsure!”

Ji Mingshu was on the verge of having a heart attack. Jiang Chun was surprised and asked, “Then why didn’t he reveal my mistake and even went to the supermarket with me? Didn’t he realize it?”

“Don’t think that others are the same as you!”

Jiang Chun was wary of Ji Mingshu’s fierce demeanor. After acknowledging her mistake with a humble attitude, she remembered the events that occurred when they were on the supermarket.

“When we visited the fruit section, he mentioned some fruits that were unfamiliar to me and expressed his fondness for them. He then inquired about my favorite fruit. I was confident and I told him that I liked eating pears. I especially enjoy studo beer pears, which are very popular, but unfortunately, we didn’t find them after searching around.”

Jiang Chun continued to complain. Ji Mingshu had a blank expression on her face and spoke in a typical British accent, “Strawberry. Did you even attend elementary school? Strawberries, studo beer pears are strawberries, not pears.”

Jiang Chun: “…”

Ji Mingshu: “Please don’t tell anyone that you are my sister when you go out. Thank you.”

Jiang Chun ended the call without saying anything.

Upon reaching the magazine office, Ji Mingshu’s anger and amusement were still palpable. The staff knew her because of Gu Kaiyang. Upon noticing her arrival, they all stood up to greet her.

Ji Mingshu couldn’t help but think of Jiang Chun. She nodded to the staff, ignoring the peculiar look on their faces. She noticed that Gu Kaiyang wasn’t as busy as she thought she would be when she went to her office.

Gu Kaiyang stood up from his chair as soon as he saw her, and carefully accompanied her to serve tea and water, looking very cautious. Ji Mingshu removed her sunglasses and inquired with curiosity, "Don't you need to start filming soon?"

Gu Kaiyang stated that the team released an urgent announcement, stating they would not be filming. She nonchalantly inquired, "Why aren't you filming?"

“The female lead was involved in a scandal. The news was just released recently.” Gu Kiayang’s tone was gentle, too gentle, making her feel uneasy.

Ji Mingshu was confused and wondered what was going on.

Seeing Ji Mingshu’s innocent expression, Gu Kaiyang battled with the conflicting emotions in her heart, causing her to feel guilty. However, she believed that it is still better for Ji Mingshu to find out now rather than later.

She mentally prepared herself and spoke in one go, “I just found out 20 minutes ago that Zhang Baoshu and your husband, Cen Sen, are having an affair. They are shameless!” She exclaimed, “The information is still fresh. We got a heads up beforehand. You should talk to your husband first. There might be a misunderstanding. Don't act impulsively!"

Qing Kai Chapter 2 (H)

Lin Qing Kai did not hesitate much. How can a girl who hide and listen to other's affair be pure? He lifted his leg and put his eyes on the slightly opened door. Jiang Ling was agitated, raised her head and looked in.  The light was dim, Lin Qing Kai was wearing a black sweater, half leaning in the chair.  The pants were still in that light color, but the zipper was open, and a huge meat stick was stiff between his legs. "Come here." His voice was scorched with lust. Jiang Ling's throat was dry.  She froze when she saw Lin Qing Kai's hand on the center of his legs, still rubbing the meat stick. She wanted to flee, but her feet was stuck on the ground, unable to move. "Come here." Lin Qing Kai narrowed his eyes and said again. Jiang Ling got up slowly.  Lin Qing Kai's gaze changed from condescending to looking up, watching her approach in small steps. The girl's coat couldn't hide the bulge on her chest. The skin on her neck

Qing Kai Chapter 3 (H)

The  empty classroom was quiet, and the intensity just now seemed like an illusion. The moment of pleasure that came out was too sharp, and Jiang Ling hadn't recovered for a long time.  She weakly laid on her back, embarrassed.  The skirt was all piled around her waist, and the underwear was wet and sticky, drenched up by her water and the s*men shot by Lin Qingkai. The meat stick on her c*nt was removed, but the burning touch remained on the l*bia minora.  It was tender there, s a bit painful, and still cramping.  Lin Qing Kai did it too hard.  When he thrusted hard, Jiang Ling could even feel his rough p*bic hair scraping against the roots of her thighs. He's really... too much. Lin Qing Kai rubbed his semi-soft p*nis.  Leaning over and squeezing her neck. He smiled, "Do you know how much water you released?" Jiang Ling didn't dare to look at his eyes directly, and turned to the side. Lin Qing Kai rubbed his fingers along the arteries on her neck, "My cloth

Qing Kai Chapter 1

Jiang Ling fell in love with Lin Qing Kai at first sight. It's a little bit cliche. On the winter of a new semester, she went downstairs during the break, and he was climbing the stairs. Lin Qing Kai was wearing a black shirt that day, with jet black eyes and indifferent expression.  He pursed his lips, and Xu Shi, who had just finished playing basketball, had a thin layer of sweat covering his forehead. The two raised their heads one by one and then lowered their heads, their eyes meeting for two seconds. Lin Qing Kai's gaze fell on her face, after a short pause, he retracted. He passed by. Jiang Ling couldn't help but look back.  The boy has two long legs.  He was tall, with broad shoulders, and he felt like a young man.  Even the back is a breath of clean abstinence. "His name is Lin Qing Kai," said the girl who was with her. "You know him?" "You don't know him?" The girl laughed, "He transferred two weeks ago." Jiang Ling
