Chapter 18 – Deliver to the Door
The front seat was empty.
After Chen Hang went out of the classroom, until almost after school, Luo Zhuowei did not see Chen Hang come back.
In fact, only about three classes have passed, but once she realized that he was missing, Luo Zhuowei felt an inevitable strangeness and a little loss.
She raised her head and looked at the homeroom teacher who was passionately explaining the math problems, and the homeroom teacher noticed her gaze and immediately enthusiastically called up this good student who was worthy of trust, and asked her to answer problems on the blackboard.
Luo Zhuowei obediently stepped forward, picked up the chalk and wrote down the solution process smoothly.
She didn't have too much emotion on her face, but her mind had already flown elsewhere. From the attitude of the head teacher who turned a blind eye to Chen Hang's empty seat, Chen Hang should not have skipped class.
Is he sick?
She remembered the wet and somewhat dazed look in his eyes after she woke him up.
Luo Zhuowei gently put down the chalk and lowered her eyes.
It turned out that the corners of his reddened eyes and the blistered gaze were signs of illness, but she was so immersed in this intimate distance and atmosphere that she even felt her heart throbbing at the sight of a small tear mole under his left eye.
Why didn't you see it right away?
She thought with some regret: If only she had asked more.
Before school, the class president put a stack of homework papers on the podium, counted the copies, and distributed them one by one.
"Chen Hang has taken a leave of absence, right?" The relationship between the class president and Luo Zhuowei is not bad, so after handing her the papers, he chatted with her casually, "This set of papers are quite important, and tomorrow the head teacher will also say that he will focus on the explanation."
Luo Zhuowei's gaze subconsciously fell on Chen Hang's table.
The class president didn't care if Luo Zhuowei answered, she continued: "You should ask his friends to help you bring them to him.”
"But the only one who knows where he lives is probably that Lin Haoyuan, right?" Probably thinking of the face of the handsome guy in Class 7, the class president’s eyes suddenly flickered a little, she smiled a little and quickly changed the topic, "It's a pity that not everyone can talk to that kind of person."
Luo Zhuowei's hand helping to distribute the papers suddenly stopped.
"I'm sorry, I suddenly remembered something…”
Luo Zhuowei hurriedly grabbed the schoolbag she had packed in advance, nodded with to the class president, and then took the set of papers on Chen Hang's desk, ignoring the class president’s somewhat stunned look and call for her name behind her, and walked quickly to the seventh class.
She knew that what she was doing was actually incorrect, abrupt and even presumptuous, but she suddenly wanted to gamble on it.
And what result of this decision, which has used up almost all her courage, depends on Lin Haoyuan.
Probably because of God's favor, when she came to the door of Class 7, she happened to see Lin Haoyuan and a girl talking and laughing in front of the corridor at the entrance of the class.
She stood still, separated from a polite distance, glanced at the girl who was almost leaning into Lin Haoyuan's arms, and then looked away and looked at the person she was looking for: "Lin Haoyuan."
"Hey." Lin Haoyuan didn't seem surprised by Luo Zhuowei's behavior, as if she wasn't the girl who didn't pay attention to him last week, and even responded to him with a cold nod.
He just smiled a little cynically as always: "It's really not easy, I finally entered the eyes of our gāo lǐng huā?"
[Gāo lǐng huā – a term used to describe cold, noble, and unattainable beautiful women.]
He did it on purpose.
Almost the moment that she saw Lin Haoyuan's smile, Luo Zhuowei realized that she would probably be ruthlessly insulted next.
So she smiled too, it was a polite smile, and even those beautiful eyes didn't bend much: "I'm here to give this to you."
She handed the so-called important homework paper to Lin Haoyuan and looked him in the eyes: "The teacher told me that he must discuss it in class tomorrow, so I shall bother you to bring it to Chen Hang."
Luo Zhuowei's face was still her usual cold and unapproachable look, and her overly beautiful appearance made her look very breathtaking and firm when she was serious.
"How can there be a reason to let a sick student answer homeworks…” Luo Zhuowei's words made Lin Haoyuan snort playfully, he stared at her, and the calculation in his peach blossom eyes that fascinated almost all the girls in Nanzhong was about to overflow.
"Of course, I'll be happy to help you, though."
To Luo Zhuowei's surprise, he also stretched out his hand to her, making a gesture of taking the paper.
Luo Zhuowei looked at his actions, and felt a sigh of relief in her heart, feeling a trace of relaxation, and a little regret.
Then she watched as Lin Haoyuan's outstretched hand hook the shoulders of the girl who was almost ignored by them, and firmly pulled the girl who was blushing and at a loss for a moment into his arms: "But.”
"As you can see, I’m busy right now." He looked at Luo Zhuowei's stunned expression with satisfaction, and began to talk nonsense, "This girl is completely holding on to me, I can't go to Chen Hang after school."
This man!
Luo Zhuowei, who has long been able to stop herself from losing her temper in the face of unreasonable boys, when she saw Lin Haoyuan's appearance, she almost couldn't control the fire in her chest. She frowned and wanted to turn around and leave, not planning to entangle with Lin Haoyuan again.
"Are you leaving?"
"I think it would be better for you to continue to talk to me a little more." Lin Haoyuan, who expected her to react like this, laughed like a cat that had stolen something, and deliberately raised his voice at her and said, "I originally wanted to owe our school goddess a favor, and will bother her to help me send these papers to the apartment where Chen Hang lives."
Luo Zhuowei turned her head to look at Lin Haoyuan coldly.
She didn't expect to be seen through.
After a short period of musing, Luo Zhuowei stood quietly in front of the dark door, took a step back and looked at the number on the door: 513.
She took a small deep breath, then raised her hand and pressed the doorbell.
The screen of the mobile phone held in her other hand was freezed on a message.

The front seat was empty.
